The Perspectives

I have had a lot of time to try various nootropics on my time off. Not only this but i had many friends and family try out the nootropics as well. In the end i had 5 people try out diffrent types and quantities of the various nootopics i was taking as well.
Person one was resilient, i had him take piracetam with choline about three times in total. The first time he said he felt no difference and i noticed no change in his mood. The second time he took it before drinking a full 4 loko and still no significant change. And the last time he took 4 piracetam 1 choline a picamilon as well ad a carnitine, i wasn't with him to notice any change but he reported no real changes.
Person two only took 1 piracetam and 1 choline, she didn't have any change during the day, but reported the next day that she had suffered vivid nightmares which was not normal as she hardly ever remembers her dreams.
Person three took piracetam twice, the first time i only spent a short time with him and saw no real change but he said he did feel a change in vision. The second time he took 4 piracetam and 1 choline, he said he noticed a change in vision and felt different, i did not get a chance to get much of a detailed report on the second attempt.
Person four Took piracetam one time before drinking, he reported that while drinking he generally felt in a much better mood than normal.
Lastly Person five was most affected by piracetam. He took it the first time before drinking and i noticed first hand that he was highly effected by the alcohol as he was very drunk and more emotionally sensitive. the second time he took it before smoking and said he felt very dizzy and nausea afterward.
I myself have been taking many types of nootropics and have generally been increasing the dosage, the most i have taken was 4 piracetam 2 choline 4 aniracetam 1 carnitine and 1 tyrosine. Overall i have not felt any huge difference in focus or view of colors as reported by others taking the medication. I have had a change in energy throughout the day without feeling over energized or restless.
I plan on updating more often as i have now order some of what i would assume as controversial medications, these are iq150 and welltabs. Some have seen welltabs on TV and might be curious so i decided to try these out and give an honest opinion on each one. One thing to note is that if you do buy the free samples of these medications is that they lock you into a monthly plan once you order the 2 week sample so make sure to cancel if not satisfied.
So let me know what you guys think and i will be sure to keep this up to date, look forward to seeing the effects and giving an honest opinion.

Focus Factor - March 15-16, 2011

General: (March 15) -  Busy times. Tuesday was a school day, i took the 4 tablets without coffee which i usually drink before school. The school day went as normal I felt well energized and was never struck with sleepiness as i normally would. Actually got down to playing a new game for a while which has not happened in a long time.
(March 16) - Even busier. Spent a lot of time with friends so my mind was not concentrating on the affects of the tablets. I took 4 tablets again later in the day without coffee. I felt well this day, not as energized as Tuesday but i did not feel sleepy or tired through the day. I spent some time learning to deal craps this day, I did not feel any extra cognitive energy when learning.

Feelings: (March 15) - More energy than normal, small increase in focus but generally normal.
(March 16) - Not as much energy as the 15th no felt increase in cognation

Adverse Effects: None, the small headache that was felt the first day was not present at any time during these days.

Attitude: No change generally. I felt a little more effected by things around me. Slight increase in sensitivity of feelings.

Focus Factor - March 14, 2011

General: I have heard of this brand before and had tried a sample before, it had worked well so i decided to try this out for my first test. Now i started this day a bit late but i took them by 12am. The recommended amount is 4 tablets, this seems like a lot and i am not the best at taking pills of any kind so this was quite difficult. I managed to take 3 and thought that was sufficient for the first day. This brand has many ingredients quite an extensive list, some i know and others i don't. It includes DMAE and DHA so good fish ingredients also includes choline and vitamins B6, B12. This thing has over 20 ingredients so i found it interesting enough to try but the high amounts of ingredients mean you need to take many tablets which is a downfall for me.

Feelings: I did not notice any out of place or new feelings during the day, though i did not feel as tired as i usually do.

Adverse Affects: Shortly after taking the tablets i felt a small headache, this headache was very minor barely even there but it was still present and did not cause any other problems.

Attitude: Did not feel a change in my attitude neither was it mentioned by my family

Focus: Neither good nor bad, i did manage to finish a school project but i did not feel any more focus than normal

The Control - March 9-10, 2011

The 9th which was a Wednesday was a difficult one, i had a paper to finish or should i say start. My concentration was horrible it took me till 4am to finish the thing i had procrastinated like crazy until that point. The difficulty of concentrating was his frustration of my mind completely rejecting the idea of doing the work so i was seeking something else to do, yet there was nothing else that i could do to since i was so bored of everything around me. It felt like a building pressure in my core similar to when i conserve my anger.
I managed to finish my paper and get it all turned in, now being the 10th it was a school day and i had only had 1-2 hours of sleep i believed the day was going to be extremely difficult to get through. Some of my pills had arrived early and i thought it would be a good day to try some of them out since i would need something to get me through the day. In the morning i took a 500mg L-carnintine with coffee then while in school i took 1600mg piracetam, this combo must have worked since i did not feel tired whatsoever during school as well as any time afterwards when i mostly take a nap. My mood seemed slightly effected as i was in a more upbeat mood with less worries.
Hopefully by tomorrow i will list all the vitamins and pills i have and the order i plan on taking them, and my project would begin on the planned Monday March 14.

Nootropics tested
  • L-Carnitine -- 500mg
  • Piracetam -- 1600mg
  • Caffeine -- 1 cup of coffee

The Control - March 8, 2011

Today was a school day, i managed to concentrate enough to get past my classes despite being pretty tired. I managed to get past not writing my paper as well. Generally i did better than expected through the day, i had breakfast with a coffee and that was about it for most of the day until dinner.
My attitude was easygoing and reserved today without any abnormal variations.

The Control - March 7, 2011

This week i am not using any types of vitamins, so i will use this as a type of control week to see how i do with my classes and hobbies.
So far i am doing horrible, i woke up by 10am had some coffee and stayed on my computer. tomorrow i have school and i need to finish a paper as well as a project for another class neither of which i have even started. I feel tired yet restless and am slowly getting angry as i know i need to finish these assignments but can not focus on getting any done. I feel like i want to procrastinate and shove it off but then i figure out i have nothing to do so i feel conflicted i really do not want to do these things yet i know i have to. I also can not get rosetta stone to work and that is getting frustrating.

The Background

Life is a simple chaotic mess, if you would like to see it as such it is only a point A to point B adventure you start and you end there is no other way to it. What makes it your adventure is what you do in the meantime, your upbringings can shape who you may be but everyone is unique.
That is all well in good but its just a digression like everything seems to be lately. You see i have a problem nothing big and it is particularly common, you may suffer just the same as myself, this issue i am sure everyone suffers every now and then. My issue is a lack of focus and motivation, now i did not always suffer from this and i do not have ADHD no it has started near the end of high school like so many others. I do not find myself special in this predicament everyone has this problem the difference is i like to try new things and though i may not have a huge problem with this lack of focus it definitely is effecting my life at the moment.
As a kid i was interested in everything i played many video games and i enjoyed every second of it even beating the same game multitudes of times i tried new things and i did great in school i was a straight A student until i hit Sophomore year in high school. Near the end of high school i stopped caring and my grades suffered i had plans for some big college and i dropped them, i am currently going to community college and still having problems focusing or finishing any of my work. Even my ways of having fun have changed, i still play games but much less often, i will never beat a game twice no matter how good it was thats considering i even beat it in the first place. I will try many things, mountain climbing, riding bikes, boxing, fencing, martial arts, i loved these things and i would have fun while doing them but for some reason i have dropped them all i have no motivation to do them anymore.
I should add a little background about myself. I am an average guy 20 years old 5' 11" not too skinny not extremely healthy but not that bad. I have a normal middle class family i am catholic but not extremely religious i go to church on Sunday mostly for the parents. i am a bit of an introvert with a little pessimism i don't have many friends but the ones i do have are close friends. I enjoy playing video games, FPS, RPG, action adventure i have particular tastes and that makes me picky when i do play games I also enjoy MTG and anime though the last not as much as before so i am pretty much a nerd though i do not show it in looks. Now for my problems, i am a bit paranoid i use to be a big problem interfering with my sleep and being anywhere out but i am doing much better lately this problem has made me a bit of a prepper, medically i suffer from tachycardia which plays into this whole project. I can go on and on but i am sure you are bored already.
The purpose of this project stemmed from the curiosity of Adderall and other types of ADHD medication i thought it amazing that a pill could keep you focused on something and thought that it would be amazing in helping me do what i have always wanted to, but i realized that it not only was iligel without medication but though i was sure i could get past that i suffered from a heart arrhythmia problem that i was sure would prevent me from taking Adderall without increasing my chances of dieing from it. This lead me to look for other cognitive enhancement medications that would aid in focus, and i found many, the problem was it felt like i was looking at bad infomercials and shady promises nothing seemed legit. This did not mean i would not at least attempt these things i was ready to try anything and willing to be the lab rat until i found something that worked. Than i began to think that others may be interested in the effects of these so called cognitive enhancers as well and that all lead me here.
    * I will be taking a different Cognitive medicine vitamin whatever it may be for a whole week, i will then post everyday a sort of journal of the events of the day and any noticeable changes that i encounter. I do nothing all day the most i do in a week is two days of college classes, so to test the effects further i will be picking up so hobbies or activities to see if i can get through them, i will try to learn a foreign language and will try to learn to deal craps, both of these are things i need later in life so this will help to motivate me to do them. this project will start on March 14 2011 I will try to give as much information on what i am taking and how much as well as my feeling and if anyone notices and changes in my attitude. Until then i am open to questions as well as suggestions to anything i should be trying, i like to be very open so i like to hear opinions and i will try to answer any questions about anything you would like to hear about . Thank you for your time.
     To Long?= *
